Time Management
Managing time is something that everyone has to do and some struggle with. Everyone has probably struggled with it at some stage of education/work life. This is currently me ☺️ (sarcastic smiley). I have been quite unwell the first week of college and missed classes. Unfortunately I was pretty much bed bound so my work ability was limited. I am however catching up. I would consider myself as punctual and I can organise tasks well, but my time management issues come when I'm extremely passionate about one project all my ideas and time and effort goes into that, then all of a sudden I remember I have other modules!! ... no I'm being slightly dramatic, but this has happened once or twice. The modules in this course are courses in themselves tho! I have friends in other colleges doing just Multimedia and just Film. Our course is heavy but it will be so worth it by the end. Also I feel I am jumping into a whole new college life as we were all online last year. I'm not quite used to the timetable just yet, not counting commuting time and a part time job also! I have decided to prioritise my college and work for the next few months as I will be needing to save to move away next summer, so there will be few nights out for me😔. (Also the college shuttle bus is VERY unreliable. Still getting used to that also).
In terms of workload time management I think procrastination and saying 'I'm busy' as a cop out and not actually doing the work (The Myth of 'too busy'), can be easy when our mind is elsewhere. I think before you fall into the "ill do it after dinner" or "actually I need to cleanly room first" you should catch yourself procrastinating and JUST START!!
